Zambia Teen Aglow
In the beautiful nation of Zambia, Aglow Generation goes by the name of “Teen Aglow.” Teen Aglow is one of Aglow’s most active Generations groups globally! Elizabeth (Liz) Mbuzi, National President of Aglow Zambia, Aglow Africa Regional Committee Chair, as well as one of Aglow’s own International Board of Directors, sent me photos from a Teen Aglow event that was held on June 7, 2025. Liz’s daughter, Mbaweme runs Zambia’s Teen Aglow along with her friend Laiza, along with other Teen Aglow leaders.
Along with the photos, Mbaweme shared that, “yesterday we launched our Bible meeting theme for the year, ‘Building a Personal Relationship with God,’ with a powerful discussion on ‘being born again.’ We explored what it means to experience Christ once He’s been accepted into one’s heart, and 15 teenagers took a significant step in their faith journey by giving their lives to Christ. Our games session was just as impactful, featuring interactive activities like, ‘Would You Rather’ and ‘The Fruit of the Spirit.’ These games encouraged teamwork, discussion, and reflection helping our teens deepen their understanding of their faith. It was an incredible time of connection, growth, and reflection.”
